How much should an AI voice agent be allowed to change?
A lot of voice AI discussions focus on whether the agent understands the caller, however I’m more interested in what happens once it understands them perfectly. Reading an account balance is one thing. Changing an address, moving money, cancelling something or making an exception is different. At some point the question becomes less about intelligence and more about permissions. How are you deciding which actions they can take on their own and which ones always need approval?
