Hitting a plateau after 13 years. Is it time for me to walk away from software?
Hello, I have a consulting opportunity for a company that is operating in a domain in which I have a fair bit of subject matter expertise. I would be working on building an agentic system that faces both consumers and SMEs. I am unsure what a good rate to throw out as an initial proposal. The last time I consulted for something similar, I charged either 125 or 150 USD per hour, which I think was somewhat cheap.
